  Our People - The Rewards GMS Security Services Ltd recognises that our staff are our greatest asset and is committed to providing a rewarding environment for our employees.

GMS offer the following benefits:

  • HSF Health Plan
    Helping our staff to budget for everyday expenses that they or their family may incur. The scheme is not private medical insurance, cash sums are paid towards medical expenses often not covered by health insurance or the NHS.
  • For as little as £1.00 per day our staff can receive up to 50% cash sums for the value of the treatment. This includes eye tests & glasses, dental check ups, visits to an Osteopath, Chiropractor or Physiotherapist.

    The scheme also automatically offers Personal Accident payments of up to £5,000 for permanent disability or up to £2,500 for Accidental Death.

    Additional benefits include access to 24 hour Legal helpline, Stress Counseling, Medical Information and GP advice line.
  • Pension
    All employees who are aged between 22 and state pension age and earn over £10,000 per annum are automatically enrolled into the group pension scheme, administered by The People’s Pension. The employee and GMS will each contribute 1% of your salary.The payment that employees make benefit from tax relief which allows savings to grow in a tax efficient manner.
  • Childcare Benefits
    GMS have registered with the Computer Share Vouchers Scheme which enables our working parents to have up to £243 per month deducted from Gross pay to assist with cost of child care. Over 45,000 carers accept childcare vouchers and the scheme is not limited to nurseries but also includes school and holiday clubs.
  • Guard of the month
    GMS ask clients to nominate staff who have delivered a service that goes above and beyond the call of duty for our Guard of the Month Reward Scheme. Officers receive a payment of £75.00 together with a certificate of achievement in recognition of the service they have provided.
  • Employee Reward Scheme
    GMS currently offer an Employee Reward Scheme, entitling employees to various loyalty discounts.

    The driving force of this scheme is to enable our employee’s net pay to go further. Employees have access to over 6,500 discounts and a typical member can save between £500 - £2,500 per year.

    Some of the biggest saving can be made when our staff are purchasing goods from the major supermarkets. Morrisons 6%, Asda 5%, Sainsburys 5%, Marks & Spencers 5.5% and discounts are also offered at over 60 High Street Retailers.
